Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost

Matrimony Retreat starts Wednesday. Please keep silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers.

Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, October 29th we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Christ the King. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.

All Soul Envelopes are in the vestibule to submit names of the faithful departed to be remembered at daily Mass throughout November. Please include an offering. Envelopes can be placed in the collection basket or turned in to the parish office by October 31, 2023.

All Saints Day, Wednesday, November 1st is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times: 5:45 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM (sung Mass) and 6:30 PM. There will also be Vespers at 6:00 PM.

All Saints Party: Please join us for the Annual All Saints Day Party on Saturday, November 4th. The costume contest will begin at 3:15 PM in Boyle Hall. The party will take place on the field from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with Saint themed carnival games, food, and fun!  Donations of candy and small religious prizes for the children can be placed in the bins in Boyle Hall. OLOS Bags Tournament: All men of the parish, ages 12 and up, are invited to a Bags (Cornhole) Tournament sponsored by the Holy Name Society on Saturday, November 11th at 9:30 AM on St. John Bosco Field. This is an all-day men’s event including food, drinks, cigars, a cornhole tournament and more. We will honor Veterans during the event, and all Veterans play for free. Poor & Needy Fund Donations: The church is often called on to assist with rent, utilities, and medical expenses for those in need. If you can contribute to this fund, please place your donation in an envelope marked “for the needy” and turn it into the collection basket or the church office any time throughout the year. Thank you for your continued generosity.

The Christmas Giving Tree will be on display during the Christmas Boutique this year on November 26th and December 3rd. The ornaments on this tree will list specific items needed by one of our parishioners, particularly at Christmas. If you or someone you know could benefit from the Christmas Giving Tree, contact Fr.
