Third Order Spiritual Conference will be held Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 AM in the Church. All parishioners who are members of a Third Order (SSPX, Dominican, Franciscan, Benedictine, Carmelite) are encouraged to attend.
Second Collection schedule: October 13th to benefit the Building Fund; October 20th for the Consoling Sisters Foundation. Thank you for your generosity.
Election Novena: Please join the SSPX U.S. District in praying a special novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the upcoming elections and the good of the United States, from October 7th – November 5th. Copies of the novena can be found in the church vestibule.
Theosis Social Event: Our Lady of Sorrows’ Young Adult Group, Theosis, will host an Ice-Skating Social on Saturday, October 12th at the AZ Ice Den Arcadia. This event is open to all unmarried adults ages 18-30. Please RSVP to Gina Gareau at 949-632-5096 by October 9th for further details and to reserve your spot.
Mass Schedule Change: On Sunday, October 27th we will have only two Masses (at 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM) in honor of the Feast of Christ the King. An outdoor procession will begin at 9:30 AM.
The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Mitchell Brzozowy and Miss Sarah Wantland, both of Chandler, AZ, who plan to be married on October 14, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
The First Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Juan Gandara and Mrs. Magaly Mendoza Delgado, both of Phoenix, AZ, who plan to be married on October 26, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows.
