Feast of St. Pius X, Tuesday, September 3rd 8:30 AM Mass will be a Solemn High Mass, and we will have Vespers and Benediction at 5:30 PM.
Holy Name Society meeting Wednesday, September 4th at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center. Fr. McFarland will give a conference, with discussion and refreshments following. All men of the parish are encouraged to attend.
All Day Adoration on Friday, September 6th begins after 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Please be sure all time slots are filled to give correct veneration to Our Lord. “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, September 7th after the 8:30 AM Mass. We will meet in the Retreat Chapel to pray the Seven Sorrows devotions and prayers for the book intentions, followed by our meeting and refreshments in Boyle Hall.
Bookstore Lay-Away Items: Please come to the bookstore to settle all lay-aways. Any unsettled lay-away will be returned to the shelves on September 8, 2024. Thank you for your understanding.
STEM Program Registration: Registration is now open for the Lux Labz Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) program at Our Lady of Sorrows. Contact Joe Zapp ([email protected]) or Dan Torzala ([email protected]) with any questions.
Catechism Registration: Catechism classes will begin Sunday, September 8, 2024 for all children not enrolled in Our Lady of Sorrows Academy. To register your child(ren), please contact Mr. Rocky Forthofer at: [email protected] or 602-741-3457.
Archery Club: For all parish children, students in grades 4 - 12, interested in joining or returning to the OLOS Archery Club, please sign up on the priory website at: https://ourladyofsorrows-priory.com/en/our-lady-sorrows-archery-club-47150.
