Sunday Catechism: Classes begin today at 10:00 AM.
Blessing of religious articles at the communion rail today after all Masses.
Holy Name Sunday: Members are reminded to receive Communion as a group today, and recite the Holy Name Pledge with Father after the concluding prayers of Mass.
Prayer for Priests: All parishioners are invited to join the HNS in the prayer for priests directly after Mass today. Prayer is inside back cover of the hymnal. Prayer will be led by a HNS member.
Second Collection schedule: Today to benefit the Building Fund, September 20 to benefit the Academy, September 27 for the SSPX Priest Training Program. Thank you for your generosity
Anniversary Celebration Today: In honor of the anniversary of the consecration of our church and to commemorate the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, we invite all parishioners to Vespers and Benediction at 5:00 PM. Games to follow. All who attend for fun and games are asked to bring a finger dessert.
Flowers for Our Lady: If you are able, please bring flowers to adorn the statue of our Patron, Our Lady of Sorrows, for the feast day on Tuesday, September 15th. Vases will be set up around the statue.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 PM in the retreat conference room. All ladies of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend.
Men’s Ignatian Retreat starts tomorrow. Please keep the silence on the retreat grounds this week. Please keep the retreatants in your prayers.

40 Days for Life: From September 23rd through November 1st, you are invited to join the 40 Days for Life – 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You are also invited to stand and peacefully pray during the 40-day vigil outside Family Planning Associates in downtown Phoenix or outside Planned Parenthood in Tempe. Informational flyers can be found in the vestibule.
