All Day Adoration on Friday, October 2nd begins after 8:30 AM Academy Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 5:45 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule “Can you not watch one hour with Me?” Please be sure all time slots have two people signed up to give correct veneration to Our Lord. First Friday Mass follows Benediction at 6:30 PM.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, October 3rd. We will be saying prayers for the book intentions and for the Poor Souls in Purgatory in the church after the 8:30 AM Mass and Seven Sorrows devotion. Meeting immediately follows in the Conference Room.
40 Days for Life: From September 23rd through November 1st, you are invited to join the 40 Days for Life – 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You are also invited to stand and peacefully pray during the 40-day vigil outside Family Planning Associates in downtown Phoenix or outside Planned Parenthood in Tempe. Informational flyers can be found in the vestibule. We will also have All Day Adoration on Monday, October 12th for this intention.
Rosary Crusade: In view of the upcoming national elections, Fr. John Fullerton, our new District Superior, has asked us to begin a new Rosary Crusade. From the feast of St. Michael, September 29th, to the feast of All Saints, November 1, the faithful are asked to frequently and fervently pray the rosary for a successful presidential election, in thanksgiving for Our Lady's protection during the recent social plagues, and for the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. There is no need keep count of the rosaries offered.
Bookstore Sale: “My Catholic Faith,” regularly $44.95, on sale for $35.95 throughout the month of September. We also have new missal covers and limited edition Italian Rosaries in stock. Angelus Press 2021 Calendars now available, $12.95 each.
Trail Life Troop Meeting: Troop AZ-1571 meets this Thursday, October 1st at 6:30 PM -8. Trail Life is an outdoor adventure, character, and leadership program for boys and their fathers - or father-figures - ages 5-17. We begin in church and end in the Academy Lunchroom. Make America Pray Again: Free prayer cards are available in the vestibule. Car decals are also for sale ($3 each) in the bookstore or the parish office.

Young Adults Group: Bowling night, October 10th at 7:00 PM at the AMF Tempe Village Lanes. Sign-up sheet in the vestibule.
All Saints Day Celebration: The annual All Saints day party will be held on Sunday, November 1st at 3:00 PM. Events include a Saints Costume contest, face painting, pinatas, games, food, tractor hay rides and more. Please donate small prizes for the kids' games or a bag of candy. We need many volunteers to make this a success! Candy/small prize donation baskets and volunteer sign-up sheets are all in Boyle Hall.
