Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost
All Day Adoration on Saturday, October 3rd begins after the 8:30 AM Mass and ends with Rosary and Benediction at 6:00 PM. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule.
The Simeon and Anna Sodality (Nunc Dimittis, 50 +) will meet Saturday, October 3rd after the 8:30 AM Mass in Boyle Hall.
Bake Sale: Several girls from the Children of Mary will be joining the Consoling Sisters in Italy to attend the Ceremony of First Professions in June, visiting the Sisters at the Novitiate of St. Joseph, and making a pilgrimage to Rome. Please support their fundraisers on October 4th and 11th for this cause. Thank you for your generosity again this year!
The Transitus of St. Francis, to commemorate the death of St. Francis of Assisi, will take place Sunday, October 4th at 5:00 PM in the church. All are invited to attend.
The Children of Mary sodality is now open to all parish 6th – 12th grade girls. The first meeting will be on Saturday, October 3rd beginning with the 8:30 AM Mass and ending at 3:30 PM. Breakfast will be provided, please bring your own lunch. All girls (new & returning) who wish to join the sodality and attend this meeting must email the Consoling Sisters at [email protected] no later than Tuesday, September 29th to register.
The Annual All Saints Parish Festival will be Sunday, November 1st from 2:30 – 8:00 PM. Children are invited to dress as their favorite Saint and we will have dinner, Saint themed carnival games, bounce houses and much more fun! Donations of candy and small prizes for the children can be placed in the bins in the vestibule. The Second Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Thomas Whittaker and Miss Gabrielle Saurette, who plan to be married here at Our Lady of Sorrows on October 24, 2026. Any persons knowing of any impediment to this union are obliged in conscience to notify the pastor as soon as possible.
