Mothers of Lu (prayer group for fostering parish vocations): All mothers are invited to meet at the communion rail after each Mass today. Prayer cards will be provided. Please offer your communion and rosary for vocations from our parish.

Anniversary Celebration: On Sunday September 13th, in honor of the anniversary of the consecration of our church and to commemorate the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, we invite all parishioners to Vespers and Benediction at 5:00 PM. Games to follow. All who attend for fun and games are asked to bring a finger dessert.
Flowers for Our Lady: If you are able, please plan to bring flowers to adorn the statue of our Patron, Our Lady of Sorrows, for the feast day on Tuesday, September 15th. Vases will be set up around the statue.
Bookstore Sale: “My Catholic Faith,” regularly $44.95, on sale for $35.95 throughout the month of September.
Trail Life Kayaking Trip: Troop AZ-1571 will be spending the day on and around Watson Lake in Prescott on Saturday, September 19. If you have a kayak or canoe that you would be willing to lend us for the day, contact Wes Hardin by email: [email protected] or call/text: (602) 517-9104.
Refreshments After Mass. Coffee and donuts are once again available after all Sunday Masses in Boyle Hall. Proceeds benefit the parish chapters of the Holy Name Society, Trail Life USA, and the Eucharistic Crusade.
Ladies Auxiliary Meeting: Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 PM in the retreat conference room. All ladies of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend.

Making Our Lady of Sorrows Academy Affordable: Have you considered Our Lady of Sorrows Academy for your children, but think the cost of tuition may be out of reach? Arizona is one of the states that promotes school choice for families by making private school affordable through tax credit scholarships (A.R.S. Section 43-1089). To date, the total amount of scholarships received for the 2020-2021 school year by our Academy parents has been over $100,000! The Academy is hosting one such reputable and well-funded scholarship organizations (STO) to inform us about this program and how parents can maximize their financial benefits.
